Socializer is a new social media collaboration project that aims to delve beyond the usual scope of such undertakings.

Instead of the typical “social media experts” and “technology gurus”, we will endeavour to explore the online world of social media from the perspective of real people, communicating in very real ways.

Instead of “what’s the cool gadget of the week”, we’ll be more inclined to answer such questions as:

• What effect does social media have on the world around us?
• How do people communicate differently?
• What does the world of the future look like?
• How does social media change the business landscape?

We hope to be a little more daring than usual, and to push the envelope.
